KAFFARAH
Kaffarah is required when a person intentionally breaks or misses a fast in Ramadan without a valid reason. In such cases, they must fast consecutively for 60 days as expiation. If a fast is missed during these 60 days, the process must restart to ensure the 60 fasts are consecutive.
Make it right
For those physically unable to fulfill the Kaffarah requirement, a donation can be made instead. The donation will provide two meals for 60 needy individuals. At Al-Ansari Foundation, we suggest a payment of £2.50 per meal, totaling £300 per missed fast, ensuring that those in need are provided with meals of the same quality we would provide for ourselves.
